 | Prof.Pengfei XuNorthwest University Pengfei Xu, currently, is a professor of School of Information Science and Technology at Northwest University, Xi’an, China. He received the Ph.D. degree from Xidian University, Xi’an, China, in 2014. His research interests include computer vision and pattern recognition. He has published more than 50 papers in international journals and conferences, including iScience, IEEE TIP，IEEE TGRS, IJCAI, and etc. He has applied for 16 invention patents, of which 6 are authorized, and completed the translation of "Computer Vision: Models, Learning and Reasoning". He has lead 11 projects, including National Natural Science Foundation of China, Natural Science Basic Research Plan in Shaanxi Province of China, China Postdoctoral Science Foundation, and etc. He was awarded the Third Prize of Science and Technology Reward of Xi’an Government. In August 2017, his research on facial recognition and behavior analysis of Golden Monkey was interviewed by the Yellow River Connection. |
